Overview

The Senior Technician (Asset Management) will support NATO's Digital Endeavour by providing effective Information Communications Technology (ICT) Hardware Asset Management (AM) services. This role is responsible for the supply activities associated with stock management, procurement, delivery, receipt, and through-life management of all ICT hardware items.

Tasks Summary
  • Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations.
  • Maintains item and inventory management records.
  • Coordinates daily work of inventory management for different locations within a facility or a supply network.
  • Devises standard inventory management benchmarks to improve the processes.
  • Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.
  • Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyzes and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area.
  • Assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution center.
  • Assist with planning, synchronizing, scheduling, and tracking of CSSC assets for corrective and preventative maintenance on all NATO CIS equipment based on the Central, Operational, and Deployable Service Level Agreements.
Experience Requirements
  • 2 years post related experience with higher vocational training in Logistics, Supply, or Chain Management discipline.
  • 4 years post related experience with a secondary education qualification.
  • Knowledge of Logistic Supply Inventory process and procedures.
  • Experience of working with Supply Databases.
  • Experience in Inventorying CIS Equipment for accountability and accuracy.
  • Experience in identification and corrections of Asset Management Deficiencies.
Qualification Requirements
  • Higher vocational training in Logistics, Supply, or Chain Management discipline.
  • Secondary education qualification.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Contract Duration: 5 year contract

Remuneration: • 5,244.12 Euro (EUR) Monthly
