Contribute to strengthening the analytical capacity of the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Saudi Arabia by supporting research and analysis on economic trends, policy developments, and emerging issues relevant to sustainable development.
Tasks Summary
- Support background research and analysis on economic, geo-economic, and digital policy topics relevant to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Support the RCO’s ongoing research on the geo-economic context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through desk research and synthesis of publicly available information.
- Conduct research on digitalization and digital transformation trends relevant to economic development and policymaking, and contribute analytical inputs that may be integrated into policy-oriented briefs.
- Produce an internal, policy-oriented analytical brief on economic, geo-economic, and digital policy issues relevant to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of economic analysis, market dynamics, or financial systems;
- Experience with research, data analysis, or market analysis is an asset;
- Familiarity with digital transformation, data analytics, or technology-related policy issues is desirable;
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, multicultural environment.
Qualification Requirements
• Advanced university degree in economics, public policy, international relations, business, digital strategy, or a related field;
