Overview

The online volunteer will support the analytical work of the Resident Coordinator’s Office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by contributing to the preparation and refinement of country-level analytical documentation.

Tasks Summary

• Remotely support UN RCO’s on-site researchers in the review and refinement of country-level analytical content prepared by the office; proofreading and editing draft analytical sections to improve clarity, structure, and coherence; ensuring consistency of language and formatting;
• Where required and under guidance, occasionally expand or clarify existing analytical content through targeted desk research and synthesis of information. FINAL DELIVERABLE: A completed and quality-assured country-level analytical document informing UN coordination and strategic planning.

Experience Requirements

• – Demonstrated research and analytical skills, including the ability to collect, review, and synthesize information from multiple sources;
• – Experience in research, policy analysis, or related roles is desirable;
• – Strong written communication skills, with the ability to edit and review analytical documents;
• – Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency of data and references;
• – Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, multicultural team environment.
