Overview
Responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and evolution of the Organization's network infrastructure, including Headquarters, Datacentres, remote sites, and the I-24/7 network.
Tasks Summary
- Monitors network traffic for problems and capacity planning.
- Maintains and updates network and security infrastructure, tests and implements patches.
- Troubleshoots network infrastructure including IPBX’s, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, and proxy servers.
- Creates and maintains network documentation.
- Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Deals with incidents on telecom networks, network devices, servers, and computers.
- Monitors and supervises subcontractors.
- Manages projects for LAN, WAN, and VoIP initiatives.
- Plans technology roadmaps and configures network equipment.
- Supervises installation, maintenance, and optimization of network hardware and software.
- Assists with planning, design, research, upgrade, and acquisition of new hardware.
- Stays updated on network technology and recommends modifications.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years professional experience on deployment, configuration, administration and troubleshooting enterprise LAN/WAN.
Qualification Requirements
- University degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent field is preferred.
- Internationally recognized certifications in Network field.
