Overview

The Analyst Developer will be responsible for developing new features and solutions based on business requirements, from conception to testing and deployment. This role involves understanding end-user needs and collaborating with various teams.

Tasks Summary
  • Develop new features in existing or new solutions.
  • Study and break down solution functions and uses.
  • Develop new applications, modify existing ones, and document changes.
  • Deliver end-to-end development processes, including conception, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Delegate development tasks to external providers or Software Developers.
  • Work closely with Continuous Delivery teams, Engineering Office, Systems team, Databases team, and other units.
  • Carry out unit tests.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise, and maintainable code.
  • Perform regular code reviews.
  • Apply security policies.
  • Develop automated test cases.
  • Supervise technical tests and write testing documentation.
  • Use and maintain existing technical documentation.
  • Document all developments and changes.
  • Write API documentation and detailed technical specifications.
  • Maintain and set up new and existing environments.
  • Assist on designing and implementing a CI/CD environment.
  • Resolve production issues and bugs.
  • Organize and plan own tasks.
  • Evaluate task complexity.
  • Assist the prioritization process.
  • Represent the team in internal meetings.
  • Provide expertise, training, and workshops.
  • Have contacts with officials and external partners.
  • Follow and share new technology evolutions.
  • Propose improvements and automations.
Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on software development (back-end or front-end development. Full-stack skills would be appreciated).
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Experience in mentoring other developers.
  • Strong knowledge of: Object-oriented development and software architecture, Design, documentation, development and consumption of APIs, RDBMS and/or NoSQL database technologies, Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines, Application security: OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and data encryption, Agile Development.
Qualification Requirements
  • 3 to 4 years’ education at a University or specialized higher education establishment.
  • Other certifications including Agile or ITIL foundation are appreciated.
Other Details

Languages Required: Working knowledge of English is required.

Languages Preferred: Fluency in English is highly desirable. Proficiency in a second official languages of the Organization (Arabic, French or Spanish) would be an additional asset.
