Overview
Oversee the design and implementation of INTERPOL's strategy for combating trafficking in human beings and the smuggling of migrants. Ensure alignment of operational and strategic activities with the Unit and Organization's strategy.
Tasks Summary
- Manage daily work and task delivery of the HTSM team
- Provide guidance, support, organization, review, prioritization, and development of team activities and projects
- Ensure proper execution of policies, decisions, and deliverables
- Provide assistance to colleagues regarding data processing and guidance to staff
- Propose solutions to enhance unit activity, efficiency, and success
- Contribute to policy, legislation, technology, gaps, strategy, and goals related to crime areas
- Act as INTERPOL’s key point of contact in trafficking in human beings and smuggling of migrants
- Provide strategic and tactical advice to senior management
- Lead the development of new activities and projects
- Organize events
- Oversee training needs assessments
- Prepare written reports
- Participate in professional forums, deliver presentations and speeches
- Participate in management meetings and external strategic activities
- Develop and maintain partnerships.
