Overview

The Information Management Specialist will support the FO Planning and Monitoring Officer in ensuring timely data collection, visual product development, and data quality improvement to support evidence-based decision-making, strategic planning, monitoring, and reporting.

Tasks Summary
  • Ensure full management of the field office Area of Responsibility (AoR) 5W database, including coordination of regular data submissions by implementing partners, data consolidation, validation, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Contribute to humanitarian performance monitoring (HPM) by ensuring the availability of accurate, timely, and disaggregated data.
  • Support the use of 5W and related datasets for programme planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Produce dashboards, infographics, and maps to enable better use of information.
  • Support FO PM Officer in mapping and reporting of development, humanitarian, and emergency programmes.
  • Maintain organized records of datasets, dashboards, reports, and assessments.
  • Regular screening, analysis and summary preparation of the locally produced evidence.
  • Support capacity building of partners on information management.
  • Promote common standards and good practices in information management across partners.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in information management, information systems and monitoring.
  • Planning, monitoring and reporting experience in humanitarian, recovery and development contexts or other related areas.
  • Prior UNICEF / UN system / Cluster field experience is an asset.
Qualification Requirements

• An advanced university degree in information management, geographic information systems or another relevant field.

Contract Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: • Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA): USD 1690 (equivalent in UAH) is provided monthly. • USD 400 entry lump sum, one-time payment. • Medical and life insurance. • Annual leave: 2.5 days per completed month. • Learning leave: up to ten working days per consecutive 12 months. • Certified Sick Leave: up to 30 days based on a 12-month cycle. • Uncertified Sick Leave: seven days in a calendar year.
