Overview

Provide technical support for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of integrated reproductive health services, family planning, and gender-based violence prevention in Benin.

Tasks Summary
  • Provide technical support for planning innovative initiatives for access to integrated reproductive health (RH) services, family planning (FP), and gender-based violence (GBV).
  • Participate in the formulation of strategies to improve access to and use of integrated RH/FP services.
  • Provide technical support for the collection and analysis of data related to access to and use of integrated RH/FP/GBV services.
  • Support research efforts and maintain related statistics on sexual and reproductive health.
  • Participate in the implementation, supervision, and monitoring of Annual Work Plans (AWPs) activities.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports on the progress of activities.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with NGOs and CSOs to promote sexual and reproductive health education.
  • Contribute to the organization of community-based services and social mobilization campaigns.
  • Support the development of communications and content on sexual health and youth potential.
  • Support the implementation of e-learning and mobile learning strategies.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned.
  • Participate in the drafting of project proposals for resource mobilization.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports for donors.
Experience Requirements
  • Master’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the specific field of adolescent and youth sexual reproductive health, gender empowerment, and local program implementation.
  • Proven experience in planning, managing, monitoring, and evaluating health programs.
  • Practical experience working on reproductive health programs in Benin or similar national/regional contexts.
  • Expertise in areas like adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health, family planning, maternal and newborn health, and gender equality.
Qualification Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public health, social sciences (like demography, sociology, or anthropology), or medicine/pharmacy, with relevant professional experience in programme planning, management, and monitoring and evaluation.
  • A bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of master's degree.
