Interpretation Support for Youth4Climate Call for Solution 2026 Webinars

Overview

Provide interpretation support for three online webinar sessions as part of the Youth4Climate Call for Solutions 2026. The webinars will focus on guiding potential applicants through the Call for Solutions guidelines and thematic areas.

Tasks Summary

• Provide simultaneous interpretation from English to French, Spanish, or Portuguese during three Dive Deep Sessions.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in conveying messages regarding the Call for Solutions and its thematic areas.
• Collaborate with the organizing team to understand session flow and key points.
• Coordinate with fellow interpreters and session organizers for effective communication.

Experience Requirements

• Fully proficient in English and one of the interpretation languages (French/Spanish/Portuguese).
• Demonstrated experience in simultaneous interpretation, preferably in a development/climate topic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in interpretation or translation (formal or informal).
• Experience/knowledge of the Call thematic areas is an asset.

Qualification Requirements

• A degree or certification in languages, translation, interpretation, linguistics, or a related field.
