Overview

Conduct policy analysis, develop policy briefs, and analyze health system governance to support effective decision-making in Jordan.

Tasks Summary
  • Conduct policy analysis through mapping existing data sources in Jordan to identify opportunities for leveraging policy information to support effective decision-making.
  • Develop policy briefs in collaboration with health advisor.
  • Conduct health system governance analysis in support of government entities of Jordan.
  • Conduct Stakeholder analysis related health policy and health system governance
  • Stakeholder Engagement for policy dialogues
  • Identify Key Policy Questions with mapped stakeholders and key decision-makers to guide the implementation of health policies.
  • Develop a strategy to bridge the gap between data producers and decision-makers, incorporating advancements in information systems and digitalization.
  • Document and Report Progress: Prepare detailed reports and maintain a knowledge repository to document the implementation process, capturing lessons learned from Jordan’s experience.
  • Collaborate with technical officers at the country office to identify priority questions and themes that should be incorporated into the national data-to-policy action plan.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working for Government, UN, NGOs or private sectors in the area of policy drafting and dialogues.
  • Strong Knowledge of Data Analysis and Stakeholder Analysis.
  • Excellent Organizational and coordination Skills.
  • Diplomatic and Negotiation Skills.
  • Experience in Data Mapping.
  • Experience in document and brief development.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Health policy, health economics, policy or social sciences.

Languages Required: English, Level: Working knowledge, Required

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 12 months

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: • Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) at the amount of USD 2664; • Annual and learning leaves; • Free Medical and life insurance; • Free access to different learning platforms.
