Overview

The Monitoring and Evaluation, and Reporting Assistant will contribute to the WHO Jordan Country office's Results Based Management through monitoring and support of periodic reporting, with a focus on donor projects.

Tasks Summary
  • Contribute to WHO Jordan Country office (WCO) Activity Work Plan 2026 monitoring and reporting on quarterly basis/ad-hoc, measuring the progress of output indicators, especially supporting periodic reporting on pandemic preparedness project, flagship initiatives and other donor projects.
  • Perform field monitoring visits, as per the output of the project and produce assurance report as per the timeline indicated in the agreed project proposal.
  • Assist supportive supervision by technical officers of the specific project for assurance purposes.
  • Contribute to the data analysis on periodic basis, such as the value proposition statements and achievements of the projects.
  • Support PME team in performing mid- term and end of project evaluations.
  • Support in producing periodic reports for WHO Jordan Country office (WCO), including donor reports.
  • Assist in documentation of technical and communication products of donor projects.
  • Any other related tasks as required by WHO Jordan Country office (WCO).
Experience Requirements
  • At least 1 year in monitoring and evaluation for donor projects, report generation and coordination;
  • Strong Knowledge of developing Monitoring frameworks, action plans, assurance reports.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Proven ability to plan, organize, and facilitate internal WHO coordination, preparing for field monitoring and reporting.
  • Technology skills: proven ability to use statistical tools, Canva and other visualization tools, statistical tools, knowledge in AI tools is an asset.
  • Experience in Developing Reports: Proficiency developing high quality reports for donors and internal WHO use, with timeliness and effective data collection and translation to reports.
  • Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills;
  • Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development;
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel;
  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment;
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines;
  • Sound security awareness;
  • Have affinity with or interest in WHO, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Information Management/ basic life sciences/Epidemiology/business administration; Certified training in Monitoring and Evaluation and data analytics is an asset.
