The Human Rights Specialist will support OHCHR-EARO's work in capacity building, human rights monitoring, and the provision of technical assistance to various stakeholders.
At least 3 years of progressive professional work experience in human Rights monitoring, investigation, research, reporting, and coordination. Experience working with civil society organizations, government counterparts, or with an international or regional organization, as well as exposure to other cultures is desirable.
Master's degree in law/Human Rights, Political Sciences, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related field. A first-level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
