Overview
The Finance Associate assists with the processing of financial transactions, maintains financial records, and provides financial advice to staff members.
Tasks Summary
- - Maintain financial records and monitoring systems.
- - Select and enter data from documents.
- - Prepare recurring and special reports.
- - Advise and assist staff on financial matters.
- - Maintain liaison with bank officials.
- - Prepare cost estimates and participate in budget analysis.
- - Initiate correspondence to verify data.
- - Verify financial transactions.
- - Support risk management and opportunity identification.
- - Perform other related duties.
Experience Requirements
- 3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
- Prior experience in finance, accounting, or administrative support.
- High level of IT affinity (MS Office applications, People Soft).
- Knowledge of C ERP Finance and Workday applications.
- Familiarity with UN/UNHCR financial rules and procedures.
- Knowledge of Cash based interventions (CBI) reconciliations.
- Knowledge and work experience of Cloud ERP.

Certificates and/or Licenses: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance.
