Overview

The Junior Machine Learning Engineer will support the Arab Development Portal's work by implementing advanced ML models and LLM-based solutions for data-driven insights on development trends in the Arab region.

Tasks Summary

• Implement ETL pipelines
• Develop and implement advanced AI models for data extraction, classification, and matching algorithms
• Explore alternative large language models (LLMs) to enhance data analysis and classification
• Implement APIs as needed to communicate with different tools
• Explore and implement solutions related to agentic development
• Collaborate with data scientists for data sharing and analysis
• Prepare and contribute to reports and presentations

Experience Requirements

No previous work experience is required.

Qualification Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in economics, computer science, data science, statistics or related area is required.
• Knowledge in Python or R, is required.
• Knowledge of different machine learning models and techniques is required.
• Knowledge of different artificial intelligence concepts is desirable.
• Knowledge in LLMs is desirable.

Languages Required: • Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Fluency in Arabic is desirable.
