Overview
Provide tailored Social and Behavior Change (SBC) support to UNICEF MCCT+ programme cycles and the design and development of SBC outreach campaigns. The consultancy aims to provide dedicated support to partner capacity development and implementation support to integrated SBC activities.
Tasks Summary
- Provide tailored SBC support to UNICEF MCCT+ programme cycles and the design and development of SBC outreach campaigns.
- Design, plan and implement SBC activities backed by social and behavioural evidence and strong engagement and participation mechanisms.
- Provide tailored SBC support to community interventions supporting MCCT+ and SANAD.
- Provide technical guidance and training to Health Promoters, media personnel, frontline workers of partners and community leaders/influencers.
- Provide tailored SBC support to UNICEF programme sections IDP strategy implementation.
- Generate and utilize rapid and agile research, data, and evidence to inform the design, measurement, and monitoring of SBC programs and outcomes.
- Support documentation, reporting, and contribution to donor and internal reports on SBC outcomes.
- Support the implementation, monitoring, and follow-up of Programme Documents (PDs) with implementing partners on SBC-related activities.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum three years of professional experience in SBC or related technical area programme planning and management at the national or international levels, preferably in a developing country.
- Experience working in emergency settings is required.
- Relevant experience in SBCC and Community Engagement for immunization and social cohesion in any UN system organization is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate in a multicultural environment.
Qualification Requirements
Degree in Social/behavioral/communication science other fields with relevant certified trainings in behavioral and social communication
