Overview

Seeking an Individuals Fundraising Specialist to support UNICEF Country Offices and Clusters in specific regions with their private sector fundraising plans and strategic development.

Tasks Summary

• Ensure fundraising infrastructure is in place, including agency provision and contractual negotiation.
• Coordinate strategic planning, development, and implementation of individual fundraising activities.
• Monitor and facilitate the implementation of fundraising strategies and work plans.
• Develop, implement, and manage individual donor reporting and analysis.
• Maintain intelligence on market developments and successful techniques.
• Develop a bank of high performing creative assets.
• Manage the development and optimization of donor journeys.
• Work with BI specialist on Salesforce database optimization and donor insights.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Private Sector Fundraising, Management, or another relevant technical field.
• Experience and understanding of working in developing markets or for a UNICEF regional or country office.
• Proven experience as a highly experienced fundraiser, including delivering multimillion dollar targets and multiple deliverables, setting up a fundraising operation and infrastructure, building up and leading a large team.
• Proven experience of establishing a fundraising infrastructure and leading on procurement processes.
• Experience with Digital Providers is an asset.
• Proven experience working in a multi-cultural environment and with cross-functional teams.

Qualification Requirements

• An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or higher) in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Management, or another relevant technical field.
• Alternatively, a first-level university degree in combination with additional two years of qualifying experience.

Languages Required: • Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of other UN official language is considered a plus.
