Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Kigali Implementation Plan (KIP) for the Republic of Türkiye Project, ensuring its successful completion within specified constraints.

Tasks Summary
  • Overall coordination, supervision, and provision of technical assistance for project implementation.
  • Preparing Annual Work Plans (AWP), budgets, and procurement plans.
  • Managing and monitoring contracts with third parties.
  • Monitoring progress towards project results and ensuring timely reporting.
  • Coordinating communication among project partners and stakeholders.
  • Representing the project at national and international levels.
  • Supporting institutional learning and knowledge sharing.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
  • Experience in at least 1 project in collaboration with governmental organizations.
Qualification Requirements
  • Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Engineering, in faculty of Sciences and Environmental Sciences or related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Languages Required: Fluency in Turkish and English.

Contract Duration: 1 Year with Possibility for extension
