Overview
The personal assistant will support the disability inclusion consultant with addressing accessibility barriers related to information processing, administrative tasks, navigation of systems, and orientation in environments.
Tasks Summary
- Support mobility/orientation during external and field visits.
- Provide note-taking support during meetings, workshops, and field visits.
- Assist with formatting documents, inserting graphics, and pictures.
- Read inaccessible documents and describe visual content.
- Convert documents into accessible formats.
- Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for activities.
- Digitize content from flipcharts and workshop materials.
- Assist in addressing technology-related barriers.
- Edit, proofread, and finalize documents.
- Support planning and coordination of workshops and meetings.
- Conduct online searches and retrieve information.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in working with people with disability.
- Experience working with organization for people with disability.
Qualification Requirements
- A university degree in social sciences or a related technical field is preferred.
- Relevant prior experience may be considered as an alternative qualification.
- Development in education or any related field.
