Overview

Provides substantive and administrative support in managing priorities and work flow for the USG-CAAC and the Office. Compiles and analyzes data, serves as a communications link, and handles representational duties.

Tasks Summary
  • Assists in the overall administration of OSRSG-CAAC.
  • Compiles and analyzes basic data from a variety of sources.
  • Serves as a communications link between supervisor and senior staff.
  • Takes full responsibility for time management and scheduling.
  • Undertakes representational duties.
  • Screens and prioritizes all incoming correspondence.
  • Researches, compiles and summarizes background materials.
  • Independently handles a wide range of complex information requests and inquiries.
  • Supports the USG-CAAC in presentations.
  • Establishes/improves administrative procedures and systems.
  • Prepares, processes and classifies confidential information.
  • Handles a wide range of administrative duties/processes.
  • Exercises quality control function for all outgoing documents.
  • Uses standard word processing package to produce documents and reports.
  • Manages, updates and further develops internal databases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in administrative services, finance, accounting, audit, human resources or related area is required.
  • Experience using email applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes or similar is required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Word and excel is required.
  • Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
  • Experience working in the front office of a high level official in an international organization is desirable.
  • Experience in working with other UN system entities or any other international organization is desirable.
  • Experience in using ERP systems (such as Sap, Umoja or similar) is desirable.
  • Experience using talent management platforms (such as People Soft, Inspira or similar) is desirable.
Qualification Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
