Overview
The purpose of this consultancy is to develop new features and enhance the overall performance of the current ECW website to attract users, increase traffic and provide up to date information to ECW stakeholders.
Tasks Summary
- Design and implement new functionalities for financial and results data accessibility.
- Strengthen integration across ECW’s digital platforms.
- Enhance approach to digital publications and reports.
- Support regular content updates and content management best practices.
- Conduct in-depth analytics to inform content strategy.
- Improve site performance and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Enhance overall usability and accessibility for diverse global audiences.
- Ensure adherence to UN standards for web security, accessibility, and data protection.
- Provide technical assistance and expert recommendations for website management.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 years of extensive experience and demonstrated ability in web management and digital content development, including but not limited to the United Nations and/or in the international aid sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in content management systems (in particular Drupal) and web development languages/libraries (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Node.js).
- Extensive experience in using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBi) and data visualization frameworks (e.g. D3js).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and digital media platforms.
- Strong project management skills.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Relevant professional Certification(s) in web programming languages/libraries related to user interface, and/or web design development combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience can be accepted in lieu of Bachelor degree.
