Overview
Provide assistance to the Country Office to claim back input VAT from the South African Receiver of Revenues (SARS).
Tasks Summary
- Downloading documentation (invoices) from Vision
- Reviewing Invoices for compliance with SARS regulations
- Identifying the corresponding amounts on the Citi Bank Statement
- Printing out the Invoices and the Statements (for delivery to SARS)
- Completing the SARS template for submission online, via SARS e-filing
Experience Requirements
- over 10 years in administration or related role
- a minimum of 5 years working for UNICEF or a UN agency in South Africa
- experience processing VAT input claims is an added advantage
Qualification Requirements
a qualification in Finance, Taxation, Administration or related
