Overview
To support and facilitate the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) process for climate change adaptation activities, a national contractor will execute activities under the supervision of the TNA Coordinator. The contractor will provide technical services for the assessment of technology needs in Mongolia.
Tasks Summary
- Organising consultative stakeholder meetings and workshops.
- Identification and prioritization of technologies for Agriculture Sector and Forest and Land Use Sector.
- Leading the process of analysing with stakeholder groups how prioritised technologies can be implemented.
- Prepare and finalize TNA, BA&EF and TAP reports, with project ideas and policy briefs.
- Provision of any other inputs as may be required relevant to the TNA process.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with Bachelors degree or minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required with masters degree.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the Agriculture Sector or related fields, preferably in Mongolia.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in relevant fields, including research analysis and project management.
- Experience in an international agency or organization is desirable, preferably in Mongolia.
Qualification Requirements
• Postgraduate degree in environmental management or other climate-related fields.
