Overview

The MEAL Enumerator will be responsible for conducting monitoring of IOM’s activities through interviews and observation, collecting and entering quantitative and qualitative data, and supporting accountability mechanisms.

Tasks Summary

• Conduct in-person monitoring of IOM activities.
• Conduct interviews with beneficiaries via telephone and in-person.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative data for IOM projects.
• Support in the organization and facilitation/documentation processes of focus group discussions (FGDs).
• Ensure appropriate tools are used for data collection.
• Use M&E devices allocated for data collection appropriately.
• Comply with requirements for conducting successful interviews and obtain beneficiary consent.
• Follow confidentiality and security procedures.
• Conduct an initial data quality review at the field level.
• Cleaning and analyzing the data collected.
• Preparing the first draft of some monitoring reports.
• Support the collection and documentation of beneficiary feedback.
• Conducting follow-up calls to beneficiaries.
• Support information provision sessions to beneficiaries.
• Support the distribution of visibility materials for IOM.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by line managers.

Experience Requirements

• 1 month of relevant experience.
• Experience in M&E implementation and community-based feedback mechanisms is an asset.
• Previous experience in data collection or relevant field experience.
• Experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or governmental institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting.

Remuneration: Monthly Living Allowance (MLA) is USD 968.81 (Paid in Turkish Lira) Private insurance: Health, dental, life, and dismemberment (coverage by CIGNA) Entry allowance: USD 400 Exit allowance: USD 134.56 per month and upon the satisfactory completion of assignment Annual leave: 2.5 days accrued per calendar month
