Overview

The MEAL Enumerator will be responsible for conducting monitoring of IOM’s activities through remote and in-person interviews, data collection, and supporting accountability mechanisms.

Tasks Summary
  • Conduct in-person monitoring of IOM activities.
  • Conduct interviews with beneficiaries via telephone and in-person.
  • Administer quantitative and qualitative data for IOM projects.
  • Support in the organization, and facilitation/documentation processes of focus group discussions (FGDs).
  • Ensure appropriate tools are used for data collection.
  • Use M&E devices appropriately.
  • Obtain beneficiary consent before interviews.
  • Follow confidentiality and security procedures.
  • Conduct an initial data quality review.
  • Clean and analyze collected data.
  • Prepare the first draft of some monitoring reports.
  • Support the collection and documentation of beneficiary feedback.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to beneficiaries.
  • Support information provision sessions to beneficiaries.
  • Support the distribution of visibility materials.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by line managers.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 month required experience.
  • 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in M&E implementation and community-based feedback mechanisms is an asset.
  • Previous experience in data collection or relevant field experience.
  • Experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or governmental institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting.
Qualification Requirements

• Secondary education.

Contract Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: • Monthly Living Allowance (MLA) is USD 968.81 (Paid in Turkish Lira) • Private insurance: Health, dental, life, and dismemberment (coverage by CIGNA) • Entry allowance: USD 400 • Exit allowance: USD 134.56 per month and upon the satisfactory completion of assignment • Annual leave: 2.5 days accrued per calendar month
