Support the translation of a Concept Note and related project documents from English into Chinese (Mandarin) for UN Women Uganda.

Tasks Summary

• Translate one Concept Note and a limited number of related annexes from English into Chinese (Mandarin).
• Ensure all translations are accurate, clear, and consistent, while preserving the original meaning, tone, and technical content.
• Translate approximately 40 pages over the assignment period.

Experience Requirements

• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and excellent command of written English.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency, ensuring alignment with original meaning, tone, and structure.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple revisions in coordination with programme teams.
• Proven experience translating Concept Notes, proposals, or project documents in development context is an asset.
• Familiarity with UN or international organization formats and writing styles is an asset.
