Tasks Summary

Centro Irda is a vibrant youth center for children and teenagers, where they can join after-school activities, connect with friends, and get the support they need. Volunteer activities include: -Helping kids and teens with their homework so they can stay on track at school ✏️📚 -Assisting with workshops on music, radio, sports, art, and more 🎶🎨⚽ -Supporting educators in organizing sports activities 🤝 -Coming up with new ideas to engage the local community 💡🌟 -Sharing your volunteer experience and promoting European opportunities among young people 🌍✨ -Assisting with social media and writing blog posts 📱✍️ -Showcasing the center’s activities by taking photos and videos 📸🎥 -Accompanying children on summer trips and holiday outings ☀️🚌 Accommodation, food and transport arrangements You will stay in a shared apartment in Milan, featuring DOUBLE rooms, bathrooms, and a comfortable eat-in kitchen. You’ll live together with young Italians and other ESC volunteers, sharing your room with another volunteer of the same gender. You will receive pocket money of €6 per day, paid monthly, plus an additional €160 per month to cover food expenses. A monthly public transport pass will be provided for commuting to your activity locations. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the guidelines set by the European Commission. Training during the activity Volunteers will participate in the On Arrival Training and in the Mid-Term Evaluation organized by the Italian National Agency. Also, the coordinating organization, will organize training with the volunteers and the coordinator and mentor of IRDA. Has a great love to socialization, communication, can easily bond with young people and give them support. Ready to play sports and do workouts, in any weather conditions; willing to do arts and play games; willing to collaborate and work in a team. Patient and creative; communicative and open-minded; positive and proactive; adaptable; able to cooperate with educators; willing to plan, organise and manage activities. Motivated to learn and speak Italian and to communicate with locals. We expect your CV and Motivation to be in ENGLISH!
