Overview

This Temporary Appointment is for a Sr. Knowledge Management Associate, GS-7, to ensure that knowledge assets supporting key operational services are accurate, accessible, and integrated into existing knowledge systems.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of experience in Knowledge Management, Content Development, Human Centered Design, Information Management, or Digital Communications and Knowledge Platforms is required.
• A bachelor's degree in related fields may replace three years of related work experience.
• A master’s degree may replace an additional two years of work experience.
• Experience in Communications, Media, Learning & Development is highly desirable.
• Solid computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email/internet, and familiarity with knowledge management platforms and content management systems required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting and editing of technical content is desirable.

Qualification Requirements

• Completion of Secondary education (high school degree) is required supplemented with professional/university level courses in Communication, Knowledge Management is considered as an asset.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English (verbal and spoken) is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of an additional official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish)
