Overview

Provides technical, operational, and coordination support to UNICEF-supported education programmes and projects. Contributes to evidence-based programme development, quality implementation, and results-based management to improve equitable access to quality education and skills for children and adolescents.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in planning and managing education program implementation in collaboration with government agency is required.
• General understanding of the technical matters related to education, such as competency-based education, education and skill for out of school children and adolescents, multiple flexible pathways and alternative learning program, community engagement, partnership management, innovation and digital learning in education (Learning enhancement strategy, skills integration and implementation in education, experiential/activity-based pedagogy, formative assessment, SEL, climate change in education) is required.
• Experience and understanding of working with education authorities of government, institutionalization and sub-national system strengthening is a requirement.
• Proven experience in data systems, digital monitoring tools, or education statistics.

Qualification Requirements

A university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, social sciences, development studies, or other relevant technical fields.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: Proficiency in Chittagonian language is an asset. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
