Overview
The Data Performance Consultant delivers validated, high-quality data science products integrated into organizational planning, performance management, and decision-making processes. The Consultant designs and maintains analytical models, KPIs, dashboards, and visualizations to showcase the work and results of the Office.
Tasks Summary
- Studies, explores, and evaluates data sources for decision making and actionable output.
- Leads on data analysis and visualization, collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets.
- Performs advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Creates interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI for real-time monitoring.
- Automates data collection and reporting processes.
- Designs and builds predictive data science products, such as visualizations, models or AI/ML algorithms.
- Analyzes and interprets complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Leads on the development, tracking, and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Supports the evaluation of partnership programs by analyzing performance data.
- Develops products, tools and processes to periodically validate the effectiveness of data science products.
- Prepares high-quality reports, evaluation summaries, and donor reports.
- Engages in complex research and analyses to develop data products.
- Demonstrates experience and proficiency in using CRM systems.
- Contributes to short- and long-term planning of the organization.
- Coordinates with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develops processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Automates reporting templates to streamline data processes.
- Performs other duties as required.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in data science, data analytics, applied mathematics, information management or related area.
- Demonstrated experience leading advanced data analysis, automation, and visualization is required.
- Proven experience developing predictive or analytical data science products is required.
- Experience designing, tracking, and evaluating KPIs and performance frameworks is required.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in using CRM systems is desired.
Qualification Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in data science, computer science, information management, statistics, public administration, public information, management or a related field.
- A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
