Overview

The HR Intern will support Human Resources Officers in the day-to-day implementation of HR operations, with a focus on casual worker management, accurate documentation, and timely coordination of HR activities at the field level.

Tasks Summary
  • Support the casual worker management process, including assisting with documentation, tracking contracts, and coordination with relevant departments.
  • Support monitoring, updating, and maintaining staff leave balances.
  • Assist the HR Officer in posting job advertisements, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
  • Participate in initial candidate screenings and support interview coordination and logistics.
  • Support ensuring that staff personnel files (physical and electronic) are properly maintained and regularly updated.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases, including new hires and contract updates.
  • Support the preparation of onboarding and induction materials and ensure required documentation is completed.
  • Provide support in responding to employee HR-related inquiries.
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and preparation of HR documents.
  • Support the coordination and logistics of trainings, meetings, and workshops.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous internship or administrative experience is a plus but not required.
  • Any experience in customer service or office administration will be helpful.
  • Proven experience in managing large budgets.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to interact effectively with staff and candidates.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain accurate records.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling employee data, reports, and documentation.
  • Confidentiality: Respect for handling sensitive employee information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to commit to a minimum period (3-4 months).
Qualification Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Spoken and written English is essential.

Languages Preferred: • Arabic is an asset.

Contract Duration: until June 30, 2026, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s National Terms of Employment. This position will be placed at Band (NMK).
