Overview
The Assistant Fundraising Officer (Legacies and Mid-Value) will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for legacies and mid-value donors in Denmark, aiming to drive results and secure income growth.
Tasks Summary
- Be focal point for legacies and middle donors in Denmark;
- Lead the development and implementation of a new legacies strategy and programme;
- Manage and further develop and grow UNHCR’s existing middle donor programme;
- Implement, monitor and report on KPIs regarding the middle donors and legacy programmes;
- Conduct ongoing analysis of target groups and segmentation;
- Grow a strong pipeline of new middle donors and legacy pledgers;
- Develop and implement compelling multichannel campaigns;
- Steward relations with legacy leads and pledgers and keep data records updated;
- Organize events for middle donors and legacy prospects;
- Act as focal point for UNHCR’s collaboration with “Det Gode Testamente”;
- Manage relations with local lawyer supporting UNHCR’s legacies programme;
- Perform any other related duties and tasks as required.
Experience Requirements
- Relevant work experience of minimum 1 year with individual fundraising and philanthropic giving in Denmark combined with an Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree;
- Extensive experience with legacy fundraising;
- Solid experience with mid-value donors;
- Experience hosting special events for donor stewardship and nurturing is an asset;
- Experience from a non-for-profit organization is a must.
Qualification Requirements
• Degree in Marketing, International Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or related field is mandatory for this position;
