Overview
The consultant will identify and develop investment-ready project documentation for an opportunity in a sector aligned with the ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan. Additionally, the consultant will develop and deliver an in-person workshop for RIPAP focal points.
Tasks Summary
- Work closely with ESCAP and the designated national Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) in ASEAN to identify a high-potential investment opportunity and develop investment ready project documentation for that opportunity together with the IPA and the project developer.
- Prepare high-level, qualitative descriptions of the potential emissions reduction benefits associated with the investment-ready project.
- Integrate Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles throughout the project development process.
- Plan and deliver a two-day workshop (12 training hours) in-person for ASEAN RIPAP focal points.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in investment promotion or attraction, economic development, or related fields
- Experience in packaging investible opportunities on at least two projects where you identified and packaged investible opportunities in ASEAN.
- Proven track record facilitating high-level workshops with investment promotion agencies
- Experience 5+ years in advising Investment Promotion Agencies.

• Advanced university degree in economics, business, international development or related field
