The role involves developing a stakeholder analysis report and a policy brief on solid waste management and marine plastic littering in Tanzania, under the supervision of the Waste Management Expert.
A minimum of five years’ experience in events organization, natural resources and solid waste management or a related field is required. Experience in the United Nations, other international development agencies or governmental organizations is desirable.
Advanced university degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Policy, Economic or in a closely related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Languages Required: Fluency in written and oral English and Kiswahili is required.
