Overview

The Adolescent Development Officer role provides programmatic, technical, and operational support to ensure youth-focused programmes are effectively designed, implemented, monitored, and reported in alignment with UNICEF’s strategic priorities for adolescent and youth empowerment.

Tasks Summary

• Support programme development and planning, including research, analysis, and reporting.
• Manage programmes, monitor, and deliver results, including collecting and sharing information on implementation issues.
• Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation, including undertaking field visits and surveys.
• Build and sustain effective partnerships with government counterparts and national stakeholders.
• Drive innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of two year of professional experience in social development planning and management in adolescent development related areas is required. Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset. Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.

Qualification Requirements

A university degree in one of the following fields is required: anthropology, psychology, sociology, education or another relevant technical field.
