Business Control Intern

Overview

This internship supports the Braine Center of Excellence within the Financial Planning, Management and Analysis Branch, assisting with financial business controlling for services valued at over 400-MEUR annually.

Tasks Summary

• Assist with coordinating, uploading, and billing customer service agreements.
• Contribute to controlling and reporting under the Agency’s Enterprise Service Delivery Model.
• Support the development of improved KPIs, dashboards, and reports that strengthen business control.
• Help enhance oversight mechanisms and contribute to improved service execution visibility.

Experience Requirements

• Assists with the creation of regular business intelligence reports using standard tools.
• Supports data preparation from existing sources.
• Under guidance, applies given data science techniques to data.
• Analyses and reports findings and remediates simple issues, using algorithms implemented in standard software frameworks and tools.
• Monitors and logs the actual service provided, compared to that required by service level agreements.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: • 1,334.96 Euro (EUR) Monthly • Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete.
