Overview

This internship supports efforts to improve the data quality of the NCIA CMDB within the scope of NISC services. The role strengthens CMDB alignment, accuracy, and usefulness for operational and reporting purposes.

Tasks Summary
  • Analyze the consistency of BMC Discovery IP ranges compared with desired ranges controlled by NISC/NRA.
  • Assess the efficiency and feasibility of reconciliation jobs in the CMDB.
  • Analyze matching Information Exchange Requirements from NISC Solution Architects against the data reflected in the relevant Power BI dashboards.
  • Apply tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes.
  • Assist with audits to check the accuracy of the information and undertake any necessary corrective action under direction.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data pipelines and data stores.
  • Perform administrative tasks to provide accessibility, retrievability, security and protection of data.
  • Use a visualisation product, as guided, to design and create data visuals.
  • Select appropriate visualisation techniques from the options available.
  • Engage with the target user to prototype and refine specified visualisations.
Experience Requirements
  • Configuration management: Applies tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes.
  • Data engineering: Assist in developing and implementing data pipelines and data stores.
  • Data visualisation: Uses a visualisation product, as guided, to design and create data visuals.
Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: 1,334.96 Euro (EUR) Monthly. Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete.
