Information, Knowledge and Data Management (IKDM) Intern

Overview

Supporting the Office of Information, Knowledge and Data Management (IKDM) to contribute to dashboards, assist with analytics, and advance content curation. The role provides experience in metrics, analytics, and knowledge enablement.

Tasks Summary

• Contribute to dashboards that track IKDM metrics for progress monitoring and data visualization
• Assist the team’s quantitative and qualitative analytics
• Advance content curation across the Agency-wide Wiki, communities, and blogs
• Support the development of IKDM learning modules and learning analytics
• Help enhance the Agency’s information and knowledge dissemination resources and communities of practice

Experience Requirements

• Business administration: Performs routine administration activities in a structured environment. Follows clear procedures and uses standard digital tools. Stores and files information following agreed procedures. Makes simple travel and meeting arrangements.
• Data science: Under guidance, applies given data science techniques to data. Analyses and reports findings and remediates simple issues, using algorithms implemented in standard software frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge management: Maintains a knowledge management database. Leverages knowledge of a specialism to capture and classify content, taking expert advice when required.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months

Other Details

Languages Required: • A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential

Languages Preferred: • Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: • 1,477.30 Euro (EUR) Monthly • Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete
