Managed Device Incident & Service Coordination Intern

Overview

The intern will support daily service operations of the Managed Device Service, focusing on incident handling, customer coordination, and collaboration with internal support teams.

Tasks Summary

• Support incident handling in line with IT service management processes.
• Coordinate with customers to gather information and provide updates.
• Monitor open incidents and service requests, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, incident summaries, and service status updates.
• Work closely with internal teams to support issue resolution.
• Gain hands-on experience in IT service delivery, operational communication, and reporting in an international environment.

Experience Requirements

• Customer service support: Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures. Promptly allocates calls as appropriate. Logs incidents and service requests and maintains relevant records.
• Incident management: Follows agreed procedures to identify, register and categorise incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocates incidents as appropriate.
• IT infrastructure: Contributes, under supervision, to routine infrastructure operation. Gains understanding of infrastructure components and services by following the activities of experienced colleagues.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: • A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: • Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months
