Overview

The intern will support the DCSU Head Resource and Portfolio Management Office (HRPMO) across several administrative and analytical functions, providing practical exposure to structured portfolio processes, internal governance, and business coordination activities.

Tasks Summary
  • Tracking weekly timesheet submissions at various stages.
  • Reviewing and contributing to new customer requests as part of the Business Intake process.
  • Assisting in the development of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs).
  • Supporting regular workforce status monitoring.
  • Helping prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc report preparation related to project and portfolio management, including KPIs and statistics.
Experience Requirements
  • Business administration: Performs routine administration activities in a structured environment. Follows clear procedures and uses standard digital tools. Stores and files information following agreed procedures. Makes simple travel and meeting arrangements.
  • Portfolio, programme and project support: Assists with the compilation of portfolio, programme and project management reports. Maintains programme and project files from supplied actual and forecast data.
  • Resourcing: Supports managers and teams in resourcing and recruitment activities. Uses recommended tools for planning, scheduling and tracking resourcing activity. Provides guidance on resource management and recruitment software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: • A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: • Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: • 1,334.96 Euro (EUR) Monthly • Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete.
