Service Delivery Intern

Overview

The intern will support lifecycle management of CIS infrastructure services delivered to the NATO community under the supervision of the Service Delivery Manager for Transmission Services.

Tasks Summary

• Assist with management of leased transmission service contracts.
• Contribute to creation of purchase orders.
• Support fund management activities.
• Help refine new leased circuit requirements.
• Support service improvement efforts.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate service management in response to changes.
• Perform analyses for service rate and cost model calculations.
• Contribute to periodic performance reports.
• Support project management activities for new service requirements.
• Maintain liaison with other Agency branches involved in service delivery and enhancement.

Experience Requirements

• Business situation analysis: Investigates straightforward business situations to identify and analyse problems and opportunities. Contributes to the recommendation of improvements. Follows agreed standards and techniques to investigate, analyse and document business situations. Engages with stakeholders under direction.
• Contract management: Acts as a routine contact point between the organisation and suppliers concerning contract management. Supports the collection of contract performance data. Creates standard reports on contract performance.
• Customer service support: Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures. Promptly allocates calls as appropriate. Logs incidents and service requests and maintains relevant records.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months
