Overview

This internship supports the Service Delivery Manager by contributing to official documents, presentations, meeting coordination, and administrative tasks within the NATO Infrastructure Services Centre. The role provides experience in service management practices, administrative coordination, and internal communications.

Tasks Summary
  • Contribute to drafting official documents and high-level presentations.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Arrange duty travel agendas.
  • Coordinate department participation in business events.
  • Perform service management analysis.
  • Assist in preparing reports.
  • Act as a liaison between the department and other Agency entities.
  • Identify communication gaps and suggest improvements.
  • Organize documentation.
  • Support staff in retrieving essential information.
  • Follow agreed procedures to identify, register and categorise incidents.
  • Gather information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents.
  • Contribute to routine infrastructure operation under supervision.
  • Maintain a knowledge management database.
  • Capture and classify content, taking expert advice when required.
Experience Requirements
  • Incident management: Follows agreed procedures to identify, register and categorise incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocates incidents as appropriate.
  • IT infrastructure: Contributes, under supervision, to routine infrastructure operation. Gains understanding of infrastructure components and services by following the activities of experienced colleagues.
  • Knowledge management: Maintains a knowledge management database. Leverages knowledge of a specialism to capture and classify content, taking expert advice when required.
Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: • A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: • Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: • 1,334.96 Euro (EUR) Monthly • Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete.
