Visualisation and Decision Support Analyst Intern

Overview

The intern will support the Vulnerability Assessment Team in automating the contextualization, prioritization, and normalization of data obtained from threat-centric vulnerability assessments.

Tasks Summary

• Support the Vulnerability Assessment Team in automating the contextualization, prioritization, and normalization of data obtained from threat-centric vulnerability assessments.
• Gain exposure to vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Contribute to the development of custom tools designed to meet assessment objectives.
• Learn how vulnerability data is gathered and analyzed.
• Assist in building automated workflows.
• Support the team’s broader mission of enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of vulnerability assessment processes.

Experience Requirements

• Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts.
• Undertakes low-complexity routine vulnerability assessments using automated and semi-automated tools.
• Contributes to documenting the scope and evaluating the results of vulnerability assessments.
• Applies standard techniques and tools for vulnerability research.
• Uses available resources to update knowledge of relevant specialism.
• Participates in research communities.
• Analyses and reports on activities and results.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months

Other Details

Languages Required: A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: • 1,477.30 Euro (EUR) Monthly • Compensated at a fixed taxable rate of 1,334.96 EUR per month, based on 38 hours of work per week • Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete.
