Wireless Communications Intern (Mobile Satellite Systems)

Overview

This internship supports the Wireless Communications Department in projects involving mobile satellite communication systems. The role involves assisting in laboratory and field measurements of RF and system-level parameters for mobile satellite terminals.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in laboratory and field measurements of RF and system-level parameters for mobile satellite terminals.
• Set up test configurations, operate measurement equipment, collect and analyze test data.
• Document results and verify terminal performance against technical specifications.
• Contribute to test procedure development and optimization of measurement methodologies.

Experience Requirements

• Acceptance testing: Assists in planning, preparing and executing acceptance tests for systems, products, business processes or services.
• Measurement: Applies standard techniques to support the specification of measures and the collection and maintenance of data for measurement.
• Testing: Executes given manual test scripts under supervision.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months.

Other Details

Languages Required: • A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

Languages Preferred: • Some knowledge of the other NATO language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: • 1,334.96 Euro (EUR) Monthly • Reasonable travel expenses to start on day 1 and to return to your home location once the internship is complete.
