Overview

Provide in-depth operational and technical support to resident missions and various departments to identify, develop, and implement private sector development activities in Indonesia.

Tasks Summary
  • Contribute towards enhancing the PSD dialogue and engagement in Indonesia.
  • Develop implementation plans for each PSD pathway in the Indonesia CPS.
  • Coordinate the implementation of pathways including development of project trackers, organizing regular cadence to follow up on initiatives, and supporting project execution.
  • Be the operational hub for SERD's Private Sector Development (PSD) in Indonesia.
  • Develop communication materials to promote PSD initiatives in Indonesia.
  • Support internal and external engagement and strategic communications relating to PSD in Indonesia.
  • Support the origination of sovereign lending projects with strong PSD potential.
  • Support country programming and pipeline conceptualization.
  • Deepen cooperation with Sectors Department and PSOD through joint project design and implementation.
  • Support donor coordination activities particularly relating to PSD operations.
  • Support the identification, processing, implementation, and administration of high-value technical assistance projects.
  • Review relevant documents to ensure PSD elements are embedded in project design.
  • Support relevant committee deliberations on proposed sovereign, advisory and non-sovereign operations.
  • Support solutions teams in conducting operations which will contribute to PSD.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least 1 year devoted to PPPs, private sector development, procurement, or commercial or investment banking.
  • At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with diverse groups.
  • Capability to independently manage assigned work and multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience managing documents and organizing digital files and records.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, accounting, or equivalent.
  • A master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certified Public-Private Partnerships Professional accreditation and passing any levels of the CFA are advantages.
Other Details

Languages Required: Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: Initially for a period of up to 3 years, or up to the Normal Retirement Date (NRD), whichever comes earlier. Option to renew for up to an additional 3 years.
