Overview
The consultancy aims to design a practical, context-sensitive, and results-oriented communications strategy for the Pathways to Protection (P2P) programme. This includes defining objectives, identifying audiences, developing messages, recommending channels, clarifying roles, and proposing monitoring approaches.
Tasks Summary
- Define clear communication objectives aligned with P2P goals
- Identify key target audiences at global, regional and national levels
- Develop key messages and narratives reflecting protection principles and ethical communication standards
- Recommend appropriate communication channels, tools, and products
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and coordination mechanisms for strategy roll-out
- Propose indicators and approaches for monitoring and evaluating communications efforts
- Develop a 4 Years communications plan (until end of 2029) including strategic “communication cycles”
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in developing communications strategies for international development or humanitarian programmes
- Demonstrated understanding of migration, displacement, protection, and rights-based approaches
- Experience working with or for international NGOs and multi-country projects
- Experience with ethical and protection sensitive communications
- Ability to work remotely and coordinate with diverse stakeholders across different time zones
