Overview

Ensure DRC's compliance with donor and internal grant management guidelines, lead donor-obligated reporting, manage grants information, and provide technical support for project cycle management.

Tasks Summary
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of donor and government policies, and build capacity for compliance.
  • Update, streamline, and disseminate grants management tools and resources.
  • Ensure grants-related information is organized and follows a clear filing structure.
  • Participate in Project Management Meetings and disseminate grants management updates.
  • Support tracking of donor financial disbursements and prepare disbursement requests.
  • Support drafting and reviewing grant agreements and contract amendments.
  • Serve as the primary focal point for donors' correspondence on grants-related issues.
  • Support grant kickoff, review, and closing meetings, and draft required documents.
  • Ensure project teams meet project cycle management standards and provide training.
  • Inform the Programme Development and Quality Manager of any inability to meet contractual obligations and propose solutions.
  • Lead donor reporting processes by coordinating, compiling inputs, and providing quality review.
  • Update and share DRC’s reporting timelines.
  • Support the Programme Quality Assurance unit in implementing programme quality tools.
  • Support documentation of lessons learned and best practices.
  • Liaise with teams to facilitate OPM and UNHCR reporting.
  • Facilitate partner assessment process and draft partnership management documents.
  • Support drafting and finalizing partnership agreements.
  • Support partner capacity building.
  • Prepare documentation for DRC stakeholders and external entities.
  • Contribute to communications tasks.
  • Liaise with finance colleagues on budget follow-up and support audits.
  • Support training of DRC and partners on proposal development and reporting.
  • Support inductions for new colleagues.
  • Support proposal development tasks, including providing input to narratives and budget narratives.
  • Carry out other duties requested by the Programme Development and Quality Manager within the scope of the job description.
Experience Requirements

At least 4 years of grants management experience with an international NGO, with at least 2 years in a coordination role.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Quantitative Economics, Business Statistics, Management, or other relevant fields.

Other Details

Languages Required: Full professional proficiency in English with the capacity to produce well-written products for formal reporting and communication.
