Overview
This position supports accountability to affected populations and strengthens MEAL functions across Gaza-based projects by ensuring accurate data collection, management, and reporting. The role contributes to improving community feedback mechanisms and program quality through reliable monitoring systems.
Tasks Summary
- Support day-to-day implementation of Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) across Gaza-based projects.
- Support community sensitization and awareness-raising actions.
- Support dissemination and visibility of CFM information.
- Receive, document, categorize, and follow up on community feedback and complaints.
- Support coordination with program teams to ensure feedback is addressed.
- Assist in compiling basic CFM summaries and trends.
- Support the implementation of MEAL activities across Gaza-based projects.
- Support and follow up on quantitative and qualitative data collection.
- Support digital data collection using systems such as KOBO Toolbox.
- Participate in field monitoring visits.
- Flag data quality issues, access constraints, or protection concerns.
- Support data entry, cleaning, organization using Excel and MEAL databases.
- Maintain accurate beneficiary lists, attendance sheets, and indicator tracking tools.
- Support preparation of monitoring summaries, dashboards, and MEAL input for reports.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate MEAL data.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in MEAL, M&E, data collection, Community Feedback Mechanisms (CFM), Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), or community-based humanitarian work.
- Experience working in emergency or complex humanitarian contexts is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with accountability standards and complaint-handling mechanisms is an advantage.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
