Overview
Provide specialized support functions for logistics and supply chain processes to enable effective delivery of goods and services.
Tasks Summary
- Coordinate requisitioning and ensure timely delivery of commodities and supplies.
- Manage logistics vendors’ contracting activities including performance monitoring and measurement.
- Gather market intelligence, coordinate vendor assessments and produce relevant reports.
- Manage complex operational issues and provide solutions or recommendations.
- Prepare, monitor and revise budget for all delivery modalities.
- Monitor inventory management processes.
- Support oversight for commodity accounting data quality and integrity.
- Provide comprehensive analyses of operational pipeline and contribute to assessments and operational planning.
- Manage and coordinate a full range of documentation processing for execution of logistics operations.
- Perform research, collect data and conduct analysis to produce comprehensive reports.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in logistics emergency preparedness and response activities.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics.
- Experience coordinating with transportation providers and third parties.
- Experience leading a team of national staff.
- Experience assisting in project management.
- Experience in preparing and managing budgets.
Qualification Requirements
First University degree preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, or other related fields.
