Overview

The Project Field Coordinator (WPS) will be responsible for the coordination and achievement of expected results for the "She Leads Peace" project in Sofala and Manica provinces, focusing on women's participation and leadership in peace, security, and recovery processes.

Tasks Summary
  • - Provide advanced administrative and logistical support for programme formulation and management.
  • - Provide advanced administrative support for the financial management of the Programme Unit.
  • - Oversee logistical, administrative, and financial arrangements for meetings, workshops, events, and missions.
  • - Prepare and assemble briefing materials and presentations.
  • - Monitor and report on project implementation in Sofala and Manica provinces.
  • - Coordinate the organization of training for office personnel and partners.
  • - Coordinate with project parties and partners for complementarity.
  • - Represent the CO in Interagency Coordination groups and multis-stakeholder groups.
  • - Lead and organize key gender-related advocacy/awareness-raising events.
Experience Requirements
  • - At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administration or programme management/support is required.
  • - At least 3 years of working experience on Gender Equality and Women´s Empowerment issues.
  • - Experience on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS), Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE) or Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) is an asset.
  • - Proven ability to build, coordinate, and manage effective partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • - Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages is required.
  • - Experience in supporting a team is required.
  • - Experience in the use of a modern web-based ERP System, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
  • - Bachelor's degree in law, human rights, international relations, international development, political science, gender/women's studies, or a related field is required.
  • - A project/programme management certification would be an added advantage.

Contract Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
