Overview

The AAP Coordination Expert will support UN Women’s humanitarian team in Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) work, with a focus on the Community Feedback Mechanism system.

Tasks Summary
  • Lead and coordinate national-level AAP Working Group efforts, including Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE), outreach, and inter-agency initiatives.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to cluster focal points on the review, updating, and harmonization of AAP/CFM Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs).
  • Lead and coordinate the operationalization of the WASIL Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM), including following up with partners, hotline operators, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and coordinate regular partner and stakeholder meetings, tracking implementation progress
  • Advise and Support programme teams on partner deliverables, timelines, risks, and beneficiary-related issues.
  • Provide technical input on data quality assurance and analysis from community feedback where needed
  • Coordinate the consolidation of partners' periodic reports, implementation, ME trackers, and required documentation.
  • Lead the preparation of analytical reporting products, including briefs, presentations, meeting documentation, and inputs to progress and donor reports.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience is required in a coordination and/or project management support area with focus on scheduling meetings, reporting/documentation, supporting implementation of activities, collaboration with diverse teams, and follow up, preferably with a women-led organization, a civil society organization, or an international organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting, coordinating and/or facilitating field-based activities/workshops/sessions.
  • Demonstrated experience working on humanitarian and/or development projects in Gaza, preferably on gender-responsive interventions, is required.
  • Experience in supporting a team, is required.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, gender studies, business administration, or other related fields.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 9 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: A Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) of ILS 8,441 is provided monthly to cover housing, utilities, and normal cost of living expenses. Life, health, and permanent disability insurance are included (health insurance for up to 3 dependents), as well as Exit allowance for satisfactory service.
